A New Approach to Mental Health Care

Brain Body Health was founded in 2025 by Dana Sullivan, ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, with the vision of changing how psychiatric care is delivered in New Jersey and Philadelphia.

Unlike traditional practices that often rush patients through 10–15 minute appointments, we prioritize time, presence, and connection. Each visit is longer, allowing space to understand your unique story and craft a holistic treatment plan.

Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

60–75 minutes

A comprehensive 60–75 minute evaluation focused on understanding the full picture of your mental health, lifestyle, and goals. Includes:

Diagnostic assessment
Medication evaluation (if appropriate)
Integrative treatment planning (sleep, nutrition, lifestyle)
Time for questions and collaboration

Patients referred by a Merchantville Medical Wellness provider receive: 10% off the initial evaluation.

Standard intake: $350
Referral rate: $315
This reflects our commitment to collaborative, community-based care.

Follow-Up Appointments

$200

Streamlined 25–30 minute visits focused on progress, optimization, and support.
Includes:

Medication management
Symptom review and adjustments
Functional and lifestyle guidance
Ongoing care coordination

(Note: Visits are structured to be efficient, focused, and high-impact without formal psychotherapy sessions.)

6% card processing fee applies to each appointment. Although we do not take insurance a superbill can be provided for submission to insurance.

My approach to mental health care looks a bit different from the traditional psychiatric model. While medication can absolutely be an important part of treatment, I focus on a more comprehensive, whole-person approach that considers:

Lifestyle patterns that influence mood, energy, and focus

Thought patterns, emotional processing, and coping strategies

Creating a space where patients feel truly heard and understood

I aim to bridge the gap between psychiatry and integrative wellness. My goal is not just symptom reduction, but helping patients feel like themselves again—clear, energized, and grounded.

This concierge model allows me to practice in a way that prioritizes time, depth, and quality over quantity-something many patients feel is messing in today’s system.
